Florence Travel Diary

05 January 2018 Florence, Italy

Day 3 is all about Firenze. Firenze is the place I see myself living of the 5 spots I visited in Italy. I don't know if you have ever visited Lisboa but Firenze was like downtown Lisboa for me, not because of the architecture, I assure you it's nothing alike. But it's the feeling I got from it, always moving and incredibly beautiful. You have everything you need, and I don't know about you, but I love that feeling.

Of course the first stop is the Cathedral, you can see it right away, it's unique so take a moment and just really look at it, take your time.
My biggest regret was not going up the Campanile, I am pretty sure this is going to eat me up for the rest of my life, I heard it's insane but I couldn't pay 15€ but if you can, please go!!!!

I don't have any advice of places to eat because in Florence I just stopped at the first thing I saw because I was starving, I don't even remember the name of the place. But of course I remember the spot where I ate my ice cream next... Vecchio, it's a franchise, a very good one, just go.

Ponte Vecchio is very very very crowded, go there because it is a landmark and all that but if you enjoy your space, choose the bridge next to it, Ponte Santa Trinita, you can see Ponte Vecchio from there and the view is the same.

Make sure you go to Piazzale Michelangelo, look over the city! Stroll the streets of Florence, you will probably find some singers along the way, enjoy the show.

End of day 3.
